Suzuki Auto South Africa | Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter

The Promoter of this competition is Suzuki Auto South Africa (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”).

2. Competition Period

Entry Period: 1 August 2026 – 21 August 2026
Validation & Shortlisting: 22 August 2026 – 24 August 2026
Public Voting: 25 August 2026 – 28 August 2026
Winner Announcement: 31 August 2026

3. Eligibility

The competition is open to legal residents of South Africa aged 18 years or older.
Employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, affiliated agencies and partners are not eligible to enter.

4. How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

Enter their first name, surname, email address and mobile phone number into the form on the competition landing page.
Upload a 60 (sixty) second video to nominate the woman they find inspirational.
Describe how the woman has inspired the participant.
Submit the entry.

Entries must be original and created by the participant.
Multiple entries are allowed; however, each entry must be unique.
Entries must be submitted within the competition period

Entry Requirements

Must not infringe any copyright or intellectual property rights.
Must not contain offensive, defamatory or unlawful material.
Must not contain hate speech, discriminatory content or explicit material.
Must not promote reckless or illegal driving behaviour.
Must not infringe the privacy rights of any third party.

By submitting an entry, the participant confirms that the nominated individual has consented to being featured in the submitted video and consents to Suzuki processing, publishing and using the content for the purposes of this competition.

5. Prize

One (1) winner will be selected.
The winner and the person they nominated will jointly receive a curated Suzuki Driven By Her experience to the value of R30,000 (Thirty Thousand Rand).
The experience provider will be determined by the Promoter.
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal value.

6. Winner Selection and Announcement

Valid entries that comply with the competition requirements will be shortlisted by the Promoter [SV5] .
The shortlisted entries will be shared on the Promoter’s social channels and be opened for public voting.
Votes will be made on the Promoter’s campaign website.
The entry with the most votes will be selected as the winner.
Winner will be notified via email or telephone within 5 (five) working days after the competition closes.
If a winner does not respond within 48 (forty-eight) hours, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

7. Use of Content

By entering, participants:

Grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce , and publish their submitted content for marketing and promotional purposes, without additional compensation.
Warrant that all content submitted is their own and does not infringe on any third-party rights.

8. General Conditions

By entering, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions will be construed, interpreted and enforced in accordance with the laws of contract and dispute resolution in the Republic of South Africa.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant who breaches these terms or engages in fraudulent or dishonest conduct.
The Promoter is not responsible for any technical issues, including but not limited to network, platform, or device failures that may affect entry.
This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with the social media platform on which it is hosted.
Any costs or expenses not expressly included in the prize are for the winner’s own account.. The Promoter is not responsible for any costs or expenses which you incur during and for purposes of your entry into the competition and your acceptance and/or use of a prize.
The Promoter and any affiliates will not be responsible for any harm, damage, loss or claim relating to the provision of any element of a prize or any changes to a prize that may be made at any time.
The judges’ decision is final, and no further correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter may require you to provide additional information and documentation as may be reasonably required to process, confirm and facilitate your acceptance and/or use of a prize. If you refuse to provide us with the requested information or documentation, you will forfeit the prize.
The Promoter reserves the right to vary, postpone, suspend, or cancel the competition or any prizes, or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason whatsoever. In the event of any variation, postponement, suspension or cancellation you agree to waive any rights, interests, and expectations that you may have in terms of this competition and acknowledge that you will have no recourse against Suzuki and any affiliates.
1 Vote per individual
Votes generated through bots, automated software or fraudulent means will be removed.
Purchased or manipulated votes will not be accepted.
The promoter reserves the right to audit votes before confirming the winner.
That any participant found manipulating the voting process may be disqualified.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of the winner and nominated individual. The winner may be required to provide proof of identity, confirmation of eligibility, and a signed publicity consent form. The winner shall also be required to confirm that the nominated individual has provided the necessary consent to participate in the Competition and receive the prize.
The Promoter reserves the right to immediately disqualify any participant where there is evidence of vote manipulation, automated voting, fake accounts, impersonation, misleading information, fraudulent conduct, or any other activity that compromises or undermines the fairness, integrity or proper operation of the Competition.
The promoter reserves the right to verify all information submitted by participants;
The entry or prize may be disqualified or forfeited if consent cannot be verified.

9. Liability

The Promoter is not responsible for:

Any technical issues, network failures, or delays affecting entry submission.
Any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the competition or acceptance of the prize.

10. POPIA Compliance

By entering, participants consent to the processing of their personal information for purposes of administering the competition.
Personal information will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

11. Acceptance of Terms

Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

By submitting an entry, participants warrant that they have obtained the consent of any identifiable individuals appearing in the submitted content.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify fraudulent, automated, bulk-generated or manipulated votes and may verify voting activity at its sole discretion.
Winners may be announced on Suzuki South Africa's social media platforms and campaign channels.
Public voting will form part of the judging process. The final decision rests with the Promoter and appointed judges.
